 Lufthansa's approach to strategic L&D

A presentation by Burt Gochermann, Head of Lufthansa's Business School.  The presentation outlines the approach taken by Lufthansa to make their learning and development activities more strategic.  A bottom up and top down process was implemented that identified clear strategic fields of action.  These "fields of action" gave orientation for 40 programmes. Lufthansa's strategic approach has gained them world wide recognition and awards and a wide range of business benefits such as staff retention, motivation, meeting and exceeding corporate goals.
